Yesterday, Omer Hausner, an MSc student under my supervision, presented his thesis at the seminar of the School of Industrial and Intelligent Systems Engineering at Tel Aviv University.

His research, conducted at the Big Data Lab, introduces a passive and continuous method for assessing Subjective Sleep Quality (SSQ) using wearable devices.

The project combines data science, signal processing, and digital health innovation to deliver personalized sleep insights without requiring active user input.

Omer gave an outstanding presentation, and I’m very proud of him.
