Participation in “Imagination in Action: The Next Revolution of AI” Summit

Prof. Erez Shmueli recently participated in the Imagination in Action summit, held at Google headquarters and Stanford University. The summit brought together academic leaders, industry innovators and policymakers to discuss current challenges and future directions in Artificial Intelligence.

Throughout the sessions, key issues were raised regarding trust, transparency, generative models, and the ethical frameworks needed to guide the development of advanced AI systems.

The event highlighted the growing importance of cross-sector dialogue between research, technology, and society.

Prof. Shmueli’s participation reflects the lab’s ongoing engagement with human-centered AI, data-driven modeling, and the broader implications of algorithmic systems.

This summit also marked a personal milestone, as Prof. Shmueli attended it together with his wife, Prof. Liora Shmueli from Stanford University—their first joint conference since relocating to California.
